I may be a little biased, but I'd say the Wikidot site is an excellent introduction for those unfamiliar with the Backrooms. It's where lots and lots of fan content originates from, and plenty of those original concepts are still around in some way on this site! Though a good chunk of these have been modified or added onto...
The quality of these wikis is NOT guaranteed.

BACKROOMS WIKIDOT Also called "Tech Support"/"TS", though this is a misnomer. It's a Frankenstein type situation. Tech Support is the Discord server/monster. This Wiki has gien rise to a lot of international branches, a handful of which are listed below. Branches marked with a star() don't have mirrors on the main wiki and thus may not be officially recognized.*

BACKROOMS FANDOM WIKI
Fandom has long since had a less-than-par rep for its writing quality and lack of moderation (aside from being hosted on the worst site known to man), but for the past couple years now it's massively stepped up and become an appreciable and reputable source of more free-form Backrooms writing.

Backrooms Freewriting Wiki
Kind of what the main Fandom wiki used to be. While moderated to a degree, it's otherwise free game for people to add and edit whatever they like. As such, quality varies/fluctuates heavily.
